On November 25, 2008 the TSSA enacted Director’s Order 232/08; Elevating Device Mechanic Continuing Education Requirements.
On January 1, 2011, the TSSA required that all classes of Elevating Device Mechanics (EDMs) shall fully complete the continuing education requirement as a condition of each certificate renewal.
It is common for EDM licenses to expire on one’s birthday and remain valid for a period of 2 years. CEIEP is an accredited training provider for this program and all Ontario Locals will provide this training to its members.
